Design Is in the Details

Many of the homes we’ve designed have original details that reveal the history and set the design direction.  Others have suffered from years of bad renovations that removed the essential details that give a home charm.

Below are some examples of the details we’ve added or restored in homes to bring them to life!

We restored and removed layers of paint from the door casings and picture rail molding in
the Modern Vic project

A vintage reproduction unlaquered brass faucet will patina over time to blend seamlessly with the Victorian details in our Emerald Green bathroom project

We found a nearly perfect doorknob match for the new doors in our Edwardian Flat renovation;
the replica is on the left and the original on the right

Replicating the original wainscoting, door casings and picture rail molding in our 1919 Avenues project kept the original character in tact as we opened up the floor plan in this full-home renovation
