Emerald Victorian Bathroom
In our clients’ Mission District home in San Francisco, they shared their main-level bathroom with their two growing boys and it was starting to feel cramped. Though all four family members adored the original clawfoot bathtub, they assumed they’d have to let it go to get the modern showering experience they wanted.
We figured out a way to give them the best of both worlds. We redesigned the bathroom as a vintage wet room for a luxurious and modern bathing experience, reconfiguring the space so it accommodated the original bathtub and a glass shower enclosure. We always want to preserve original details whenever possible, so we sourced materials and fixtures to preserve the Victorian aesthetic in the new design.
We collaborated with the contractor and subcontractors during every step of the build, resulting in a beautiful space the whole family enjoys.
